Especially for WINEkend, Dimitar Bodurov and company present interpretations of favorite songs from the 90s – from trip hop and house to grunge and nu disco. Jazz pianist, composer and producer, Dimitar Bodurov (1979) undoubtedly shaped his musical style by combining jazz improvisation, classical composition, Bulgarian folklore and electronics. Since 2000, Bodurov has lived in the Netherlands, where he graduated with a master’s degree from the Rotterdam Conservatory in jazz piano and composition. He is the winner of numerous jazz awards and regularly performs in Europe. As a pianist, Dimitar has released over 15 albums with his Bodurov Trio, solo piano, as well as in various groups as a leader and guest. As a composer, Dimitar has written mainly chamber works, as well as music for theater and dance performances.
