Well known to the public in Varna, Jens Düppe returns with his new project EGO-D. Creative drummer sensation Jens Düppe composes and creates soundscapes performing live and simultaneously on the drums, piano and synthesizer. As a native of South Germany, his career started early in New York and Amsterdam. Jens Düppe is “one of the most innovative representatives of improvised music in Germany ” (Jazzzeitung). He constantly creates new projects and multi – disciplinary artistic encounters In 2019 he received the WDR Jazz Prize. In 2018 his album “Dancing Beauty” was nominated for the ECHO (best percussionist national).
