Dark and experimental bass music, which is bound to set the dance floor on fire! KROON was born at the Secret Artist In Residence program in 2023. Bass producers Hajo Krijger and Kypski found a spontaneous musical chemistry, which was completed with producer Kubus. Live electronics, turntables and synths are the foundation of their creative playground and their debut single Bentlye is now out on Vision Recordings. Thomas Elbers a.k.a. Kypski started out as a sixfold Dutch scratching champion and dj, but eventually followed his heart, and entered the realms of sound design, composition, beat making and music production. The turntable is his main musical instrument, on which his thirst for innovation is expressed. Kypski has built his Syntablism system, which is a hybrid of turntables and modular systems and synthesizers.
