About the event

Nia Ralinova, vocals and cello Anton de Bruin, keys Joop de Graaf, bass Thijmen Molema, drums

Amsterdam based cellist and vocalist Nia has just released her debut album Freefall. The album was presented at Melkweg (Amsterdam) 2024, and comprises original songs influenced by r’n’b, nu-jazz and melodic cello lines. Nia started her musical journey at the age of 5 in Sofia, studying classical cello, and after living all across Europe, Latin America and the Middle East, she has garnered a wide spectrum of musical styles and genres that led her to pursue her own music. Recently she graduated from the Conservatory of Amsterdam, and is working with a lot of established artists like Nigerian megastar Burna Boy, UK star Emili Sandé, Bill Laurance – keyboard player of Snarky Puppy, Ukrainian Eurovision 2016 winner Jamala and sharing the stage with notable Dutch artists.

The concert is supported by Fund Culture of Varna Municipality and Embassy of the Kingdom Of The Netherlands In Bulgaria.
