KEEPER is the title of Angel Simitchiev’s new album, and the electronic music producer’s participation in RADAR’20 will mark its live premiere. The project naturally follows his established style. The ambient aspect is still present, yet the music encompasses a wider range of sensations via lyrical parts and pulsating, rhythmic loops, all of which become intertwined in this emotionally-complex, mature piece of creation. Angel is the founder of AMEK label, which, for more than 10 years now, releases authentic electronic music by Bulgarian and international artists. He’s a composer and a sound art lecturer at the National Academy of Art – Sofia, as well as a PhD student at the Institute of Art Studies (part of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences).
