The producer Angel Simitchiev is one of the most prominent representatives of the Bulgarian electronic scene. The founder of AMEK label, a Sound Art lecturer at the National Academy of Arts – Sofia, as well as a PhD student at the BAS Art Studies institute, Angel advocates contemporary aesthetics within electronic music, and shares his experience with students and colleagues. In this lecture, Angel will talk about the transformation of sound in a historical aspect, and he will also demonstrate modern techniques and softwares he uses in his own work.
